Accurate business records are not only required by law, but also provide you, the business owner, with the required information to make informed decisions that move your business in the right direction. However, you provide the most value working on your business, not spending hours spinning your wheels in your accounting software. Get back to what you do best and we'll handle the rest:
Are you like the majority of business owners who put their bookkeeping on the back burner because you're focused on actually running your business? Have you been commingling your personal and business transactions? Now it's tax time and you miss out on deducting expenses because you don't have accurate financial statements. Or you simply want to see how much money you're making and where you can cut expenses, but you don't have the information you need to make the right decisions. This is where we come in. We will untangle the web of receipts, invoices, and bank statements. When we're finished, you will experience the freedom of a streamlined and organized financial picture, allowing you to make informed decisions and drive your business forward with confidence.*
Do you run a smaller operation or perhaps a side-hustle that doesn't require or have the budget for monthly service? This package is designed for those types of operations, typically with 50 transactions or less per month. You'll get everything included in the monthly plan, but on a quarterly basis.
The IRS requires ALL businesses to maintain accurate financial records. Specifically, the IRS states, "you must use a method that clearly and accurately reflects your gross income and expenses. The records should substantiate both your income and expenses." Do we have your attention now?
Now that you know the IRS requires it, do you want to spend the time necessary to ensure that your financial records are complete and accurate up to IRS standards? Would that time generate more value if you spent it running and growing your business? Of course! Let us both do what we do best and watch your business thrive.
Wouldn't it be nice to go into tax season without worrying about your financial records, struggling to answer your tax preparer's questions, and overpaying because you didn't properly record all your expenses? We take that stress away by staying on top of your financials all year, making the whole process simple and stress free.
How can you expect to make good decisions about the direction of your business when you don't have accurate financial records? Hint: you can't. We will provide insight into your financial performance with customized financial analysis and reporting, enabling you make informed decisions and achieve your business goals.
You'll get to work with a specialist for less than the cost of an employee. None of the extra costs (benefits, payroll taxes, insurance, office supplies and equipment, etc.), but all of the expertise of an experienced professional.
Running your own business is hard work and full of tough decisions. We are your trusted advisor that can offer a fresh perspective when you're having trouble choosing which path to take.
Contact us to schedule your FREE 30-minute consultation. We'll ask some basic questions to get to know each other and identify your pain points and wants and needs regarding your accounting and bookkeeping. We will give you a brief overview of what we do and how it can help your specific situation. If you are interested in a proposal, we'll ask you to provide us accountant/read-only access to your Quickbooks Online file (if applicable) and additional records as needed (i.e. bank statements, tax return, etc.).
We will perform a diagnostic review of your financials to determine the current status of your books and estimate the workload based on the volume of transactions and other characteristics unique to your business. We will use this information to develop a comprehensive proposal, which will be provided to you for review.
At this point, you have reviewed our proposal and can't wait for us to start digging in and bringing calm and clarity to your financials. However, before we do that, we both will sign an engagement letter. This is a written agreement between Avallon Accounting Solutions and your company. It may sound intimidating, but it simply outlines the scope of work that we have agreed on and what we are both responsible for. This is NOT an extended contract. As you will see in the engagement letter, both parties are entitled to walk away with 30 days notice.
We will complete the items on our onboarding checklist and be on our way to providing you with clean and accurate financial records. The first few months will likely require more communication as we familiarize ourselves with your business, but this will decrease over time.
With us doing the heavy lifting on the accounting side, you are FREE to get back to get back to doing what you're passionate about. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
